hello, i'm monika!

I'm an illustrator and designer based in Denver, CO.

Currently, I'm working in-house as a Graphic Designer at Josh.ai, a smart home control system with a mission to make technology simple, beautiful, and private. I help shape the brand through digital, print, and motion assets — basically making sure everything looks crisp and on-brand.

When I'm not designing for smart homes, I'm creating illustrations, logos, and visual identities for freelance clients. My background in traditional art (think: painting, printmaking, getting my hands dirty) often sneaks its way into my digital work, giving it a little extra personality.

On the side, I design and illustrate covers for Denver Westword, the city’s leading alt-weekly newspaper.
